The beach is within a few steps, it is wide and sand is soft; very peaceful. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a supermarket and other stores 2 miles away. “Our stay at the Windsong was nothing short of fantastic! I was looking for a quiet weekend getaway with my family (7 adults), and this was just the place we were looking for. Kathryn was a pleasure to work with both before and during our stay. She was quick to respond and very accommodating of our requests. We initially had a few hiccups with our stay, but Kathryn not only remedied the issues, but also went above and beyond to make us comfortable after that point. T he apartment itself was absolutely gorgeous. Each apartment (we ended up seeing two of the three) was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook all of our meals at home. For the beach, beach chairs, an umbrella, and a canopy/tent were all available for our use. It was great to have the private beach access, and the beach itself was beautiful, very family friendly, and quieter than going to a more popular beach. I would highly recommend the Windsong to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway. My family and I have nothing but good things to say about it!” - Meqhana
“Windsong 3 Starry Starry Night is a wonderful unit, which had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 3 young teens (the kids loved the built in bunk beds). The elevator was a plus to get our belongings in and out of the apartment. A good, safe location and the keyless coded entry worked great for everyone. “Our family had a wonderful three day weekend. The property was beautiful and well kept. We were welcomed and communicated to throughout the whole trip (not too much and not too little)! The kids enjoyed the bunk bed setup and I was in awe of it and the overall use of the space. Chairs were available to take to the beach. The very short walk was a plus... back and forth was needed with the younger ones as they needed snacks, drinks and bathroom breaks. Definitely would return in the future!” - Bobby
“Kathy was very welcoming and extremely flexible about check in and checkout times. She checked on us throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed and was extremely accommodating. The apartment is on the beach side of Gulf Blvd and only steps from the beach. We felt comfortable with our 12 year old sons walking to and from the beach alone. The apartment is practically brand new, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with the apartment and the host!” - April
“The description and pictures are completely accurate. It is a 2 bedroom but they used their space wisely and put enough beds for 10 people. It is extremely close to the beach- There is a house on the beach- in front of the condo you stay in, so you just walk on the side of the house on a walking path down to the beach. The beach is pretty secluded- mainly just families on the beach. Owner is very nice and accommodating, and she did a great job with the decor of the condo. Will be back to stay again!)” - Sarah

“Our stay at the Windsong was just what we needed! Me and my siblings (all working professionals in our 30s) were arriving to Indian Shores via different cities and this was our opportunity to catch up, for just a weekend. Kathryn was quick to respond to questions, and to make sure that our expectations of the space were in line (to know this is not a hotel zone with crowds of people, but a residential area). The apartment itself was exactly as shown in the photographs: brand new and in pristine condition. The hosts live next door and were available if there was anything we needed (which we did not need to utilize, the apartment had everything we needed for our stay). It was a short walk to the beach, with shared access to chairs, bocce, and a canopy/tent for shade, and even more. There are bars/restaurants within a short distance of the apartment, so we didn't have to venture into the crowded touristy areas if we did not want to. The trip was short, but this location really made the weekend all the more enjoyable.” - Michelle
